Artera DSP releases Superior Drive, powered by parametric Neural Amp Modeling

Superior Drive is a macOS/iOS standalone/AU plugin developed by Artera DSP that gives users a parametric Neural Amp Model of an overdrive pedal:

Artera have a track record making parametric NAMs that started with Gigfast Lite, which featured parametric models of a few amps. I'm pleased to see them applying their know-how to pedal modeling.

Firing up the plugin, the tones are what I'd expected, and I quickly had it doing its thing in line with a few different amps in the mid/high-gain territory. I love the familiar looks and uncomplicated GUI--it "just works", and I found myself really happy to pull this up in front of an amp just like I'd be happy to grab an OD off the shelf and plug it into a tube amp.

As of my writing this, Superior Drive is only on macOS/iOS (sorry, Windows users). You can get it directly from the App Store on your Apple device for $4.99 (introductory price; $9.99 regular price).
